using the provided info off their site works:

so on most android phone, go to settings, mobile networks, access point names, hit your menu button (or what ever button brings up the secondary menu), New APN (or add APN) and just key in the following information

APN: rogers-core-appl1.apn

MMSC: http://mms.gprs.rogers.com

MMS Proxy: mmsproxy.rogers.com

MMS Port: 80

APN Type: Default

APN Protocol: IPv4/IPv6

APN Roaming Protocol: IPV4/IPv6

if those dont work, i found out the following work also (the easier of the two)

APN: internet.com

Password: wap

FOR IPHONE ios7:

so i found out that with the iphone, you dont need all that APN stuff. mss ports and stuff to get tha data working. tested whatsapp and viber and they worked

download the iPhone Configuration Utility tool from the following site
http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1466

once installed, and loaded up. go to configuration profiles

enter a name and identifier of your choice (be sure you do this or this will not work)

scroll down to APN

in access point name (APN) type: internet.com

in access point password type: wap

next plug in your phone, and it should appear on the left hand column. click your phone and then the configuration tab. should see the name of your profile you just created. hit install and check your phone for the prompt to install the settings (might need to enter 4 digit passcode if its set). once it done install it should be good to go.

please test these methods and reply back if they work or not work for you. thanks

This does work on the iPhone 5, 4S and 4, however there is an expiration date: December 25, 2013. How do you renew the certificate when it expires?

I had speeds of almost 9 Mbps down and 1.27 Mbps up.

the reason is that internet.com is the old way of getting data(which i used since day 1) and i am still using it. But now, they throttle it to 250kbps or so since they put in this new data thing(used to be 5-10Mbps on my iphone).

so i am not sure if you still want to use it.

i will be moving out once my UMB time is up so can't tell.

Password: wap

on both android, and iphone and it works. thats the main thing

None of the new gen 'true data' i have tried(no matter what carrier or country) don't need this.
