android autoproxy is a bit different from iPhone. android's autoproxy actually is creating a VPN using netfilter(i.e. your app doesn't know about proxy and thought it is using a standard network).

iPhone's proxy is more traditional so the app itself still needs to be more http proxy aware.

With android, it is quite possible to get the full data access if you know enough of linux and knows how to setup vpn.

Now I am further intrigued. Im happy with everything working now as it is. The only drawbacks is I cant play my damned order n chaos through a proxy.

I have found that it doesn't work. I can look and search but as soon as I try and watch......ERROR, not network connection. Same as a few months ago and same as how the iPhone App Store works. Browse and select but no download.

Dont want to get in trouble I know the mods are pretty strict here so I just want to point out I already used the search function and could not find any other threads about it.

I like everyone else came up against the wall after rogers lowered the boom and sent everything back to browser only.

Just wanted to share that I have tested the NETFLIX app and it does in fact work through the autoproxy.

Figured a heads up for everyone as I know how much of a data heavy app like netflix can be. Having a 10$ unlimited plan that will let you watch netflix is HUGE and definately makes this plan worthwhile with that one app alone.

Now if only I can get my tablet MMORPGs up and running through it I will be a VERY Happy camper still regardless of being stuck with port 80.
