Great, I'll look for that thread. (No idea what symbian is but I guess I will find out!)

How much are you selling your phone for and why are you selling it? what model?

I take it Nimbuzz works on blackberry too then, not just nokia...?

And you were able to just download the gmail app directly and it worked? Just getting a bit confused as some threads say gmail doesn't work. I thought any GSM phone with the 850/1900 bands was ok... or does it then depend further on the specific phone you have? (I kind of had set on the BB curve 8320)

Hi,
I am a happy Speakout customer but the time has come for me to upgrade to something that allows me to access my gmail as well as twitter from the phone.

If it's true as I suspect that I can't do these things with Speakout (even if I upgrade to a Blackberry 8320 which I have been thinking about doing) then I guess I have to find a new phone/carrier.

I am looking for recommendations as I really don't want to have to go back to a rip off Bell plan etc. I prefer something prepaid if possible. I really never talk on the phone, just need it for gmail + twitter + text.

Thanks in advance,
michelle
