I don't know how you got a "read only" unless by accident you selected a bunch of files to delete and maybe some of them were RO (such as the folder itself, maybe). There was no difficulty here, so at least you know it's doable...

Any way to delete these songs. I don't have a card reader, I just use the included usb cable.
