It's CDMA. MTS doesn't use Rogers' GSM network. 😉

If you're a light user (under 50 minutes/month), I suspect you'll come out well ahead even after buying a new SpeakOut handset.

Hi, I have a Samsung SPH-m300, and I'm not sure if it's CDMA or GSM and I don't know how to tell. I'm considering switching to Speakout, so I'd love if this phone was GSM as then I could keep using it. I'm pretty sure it's CDMA, as there's no SIM card underneath the battery, but I just want to be sure. Maybe the SIM card is hiding in some other part of the phone that I don't know about. Also, in case it helps answer this question, I originally got this phone with a contract from MTS Mobility in Manitoba. Thanks!
