You have to purchase minutes and make an outgoing phone call for the sim to be activated (just dial 611).

Plus you need to install the SpeakOut profile for your data to work, just do a search and you'll find out how.

I have an unlocked/jailbroken iphone 3gs. I activated the speakout sim and put it in the phone. Synced up with itunes with no issue.

However I get "No Service" up in the corner and under Network it says the "SIM not provisioned"? Under Carrier it is showing up as "Rogers 12.0".

I have not bought any minutes yet as I want to make sure the phone is going to work. The phone is from the USA and was previously on AT&T.

Any ideas? Thanks.
