I have an unlocked (Fido) iPhone that I can not get Push Notifications to work on. I have tried PushFix and Push Doctor without success. If I put the phone into Airplane mode and turn on WiFi I can receive the notifications but as soon as I'm connected to the cellular network all notifications stop. Has anyone else had this problem?

Same problem here. I'm not certain if the problem is due to the hacktivation process or the goam proxy not playing well with apples servers. I suspect the latter. Does anyone with a Rogers locked iphone get push notifications while on Speakout data?

I'm glad I'm not the only one. My wife has a Rogers locked iPhone that was previously unlocked. I guess I need to talk her into letting me restore it to see if it makes a difference. Some how I don't think it will work, like you I'm begining to believe that the problem is with the goam server.

Can someone let me know what kind of push notifications? I've got a Rogers locked iPhone 3G, but I don't want/need push so I've got all of that turned off right now. I can try to enable something for a test and see if it works?

Push notifications aren't text messages. They are part of your data plan.

Well, I've tried it now with my wife's Rogers iPhone and no luck. It's confusing because of what I read in this thread . This guy claims to have it working but I'm doubting it.

I think the guy is confused as to what Push Notifications are. I believe he is speaking of email and text alerts which work differently than notifications in other apps.
I have just moved in to a Rogers 3GS and have tried jailbroken and unjailbroken with the same result, no notifications over EDGE.
