I can't get MMS to work on my Nexus 4 phone. I have the new data plan activated and working.

I added the suggested changes of:

c) Your MMS settings may be incorrect. They should be as follows:
APN: rogers-core-appl1.apn
MMSC: http://mms.gprs.rogers.com
MMS Proxy: mmsproxy.rogers.com
MMS Port: 80
APN Type: Default
APN Protocol: IPv4/IPv6
APN Roaming Protocol: IPV4/IPv6

No go …. I just see 'sending' and the message never gets sent.

I tried deleting and re-adding the APN. Still no luck with MMS. My current APN is:

Name Untitled (default)

I have an unlocked iPhone 5 bought from Apple and have a value data plan, everything works with the correct APN profile installed but can't get MMS working. I read that Rogers iPhones work with data and MMS out-of-the-box without any profiles being installed.

It seems like I'm pooched if I can't add the mms settings. I used a cut down regular SIM card, maybe if I purchase a micro SIM it will have all the info on the chip?

Thanks.

According to Speakout, MMS is now available, but at $0.50 per message.
https://www.speakout7eleven.ca/prepaid-cell-phone-rates#messaging

Are you able to at least receive MMS? Get someone else to send you an SMS with a picture attachment.

For the iphone, is your Settings -> Messages -> MMS Messaging turned on?

I would suggest that the cut down SIM card has no bearing on this. The SIM is the means to connect but not to or for specific programs.
