I'm also using speakout on iPhone 4s (bought it from applestore, so unlocked), but never had any problems with the combo (actually it worked perfect). one thing i would suggest is to test the iphone reception with another micro sim card if you have one, so you will know if the issue is with the phone or with your daughter's speakout micro sim.

Help appreciated .. my daughter is using an unlocked iPhone 4S we bought from Apple store, with her Speakout SIM using only WiFi (no data). She has bars, but every couple of days the phone will stop working properly -- calls won't connect, texts won't come in and she can't send texts. This happens on our Wi-fi and everywhere, so it can't be our network at home.

Apple has checked it and says the issue is the carrier but they won't help b/c they say they don't support Speakout.

Did we cut the Sim wrong? or is it a Speakout>4S known problem? any suggestions would be very helpful. ty
