Hi All,
I'm on data only SO with iphone4s. Suddenly in late November, after about 3 weeks of use, skype starting working on 3G.
Recently I jailbroke my iphone, everything worked well, including 3g unrestrictor (on app store, and all other wifi-limited apps).
Yesterday morning: no network connection.
So, I reinstalled APN settings (via unlockit.nz.co). Network connection back. No skype on 3G. Unrestrictor not working. I even restored iphone (unjailbreaking it), no skype on 3G. Jailbroke it again. No dice.
Can anyone advise? (I've read all the posts about skype working and not working on 3G. We don't have to get into that. I'd like to hear if anyone knows whether SO changed something recently, and whether others' skype continues to work on data only with SO.

I've read previous posts. No one with this issue specifically.
My questions:
1. has anyone using Skype on 3g (SO data) experienced changes as of Feb 1?
2. any advice re tweaks to get skype on 3g working again, given my current setup (iphone 4s, jailbroken)?

1 - Skype cannot work through the proxy
2 - See #1
3 - 3G Unrestrictor is probably already working. The apps you want just wont work because they don't operate over port 80.

Read through the longer topic late last night, wanted to post in it but woke up finding it closed . It's a real shame that it's been cut off. I'll probably still keep it for another month to see how useful it still is. Maps still works great, which was probably the main reason I got UMB in the first place.
But I completely agree with andreww, abusers probably caused the lockup.
