There was a brief time where some Rogers branded IPhones would not work with Speakout (I believe it was the GS) but that is now ancient history.

I got a speakout sim and put it in my Rogers-locked 3Gs but instead of saying SpeakOut it just has the signal bar indicator (with only one bar of reception) and no carrier name. All calls sent fail and text messages fail to send. I tried the sim in a unlocked nokia and it worked fine and got reception. My phone is jailbroken. Any ideas?
