I discovered that push notifications work exactly when I am in Airplane Mode with Wifi Activated. Somehow, being out of airplane mode (i.e. being connected to the cellular network via sim card) is preventing me from getting push notifications either through wifi or edge

Worked perfectly after that. Absolutely love using the 3gs as the only thing of note not working is youtube.

Even the email push works fanstatic using gmail "exchange" settings!

I have not been able to get push notifications to work though (either through the EDGE connection or WIFI). The phone is not jailbroken and not unlocked.

Has anyone got push notifications working on a non-jailbroken Rogers iPhone?
