I tried out the iPaq 510 and wasn't overly impressed. Now maybe I was expecting too much. I'm trying to consolidate all the functionality of my Palm PDA and phone into one and I don't think the iPaq 510 does it. For one, I was disappointed by how Mobile Office worked on the phone. It's a real pain to navigate and edit> I think it needs a touch screen, stylus and full keypad or some combo of those. And becuse it only had Windows Mobile 6 Standard, you can't create new Office docs on it.

I also had high hopes that I would be able to get Skype working on it over Wifi as well. No luck with Fring either.

I think I'm going to hold out for the new HP iPaq 910 series, when/if it comes out.

(Or just bring your SO SIM to a Staples store and try it.)
