Is that last sentence especially what an iPad does? (and it clearly says it's prohibited), then I don't know what is. Go ask SpeakOut themselves. Do it. I don't care if you disagree with what I post. I really don't. If you would be happier elsewhere, no one is forcing you to be here.

Don't see how you can specifically say the iPad violates Speakouts terms based on that paragraph. Many devices, including the iPhone, can upload and download streamed video. In fact any smartphone will. Are we to assume that those devices go against Speakouts terms of use as well?

As for those 2 sentences you highlighted, ask SpeakOut themselves then. Show me where it says you can use an iPad with their service, and it's endorsed by them. This is what I see in their Terms page:

Seems that your interpretation of iPad is quite interesting. While many people use iPad for video, NOT everyone does and it definitely is not restricted to that one single function.

And no one ask you to care or agree/disagree my interpretation of that sentence. If you want a civil discussion, you are welcome. If you don't want, it is fine too.

It is perfectly fine to say 'using iPad with SO is what we(I?) consider violating SO TOS and we prohibit such discussion on this forum due to legal concern' but that is very different from saying it plain as 'this is prohibited'.

I wasn't "attacking" anyone. Your very first sentence in your other post: "once again, you can set the rule of this forum but don't be the authority of speakout because you are not." Talking about a personal attack. Personal attacks on other users, or the admin/moderators has a zero tolerance.

I would think that if one wants to sign up for a wireless cell phone provider, they would have a cell phone, or could get one. Common sense. 99% of people have a cell phone these days.

You can not activate your SpeakOut service without a phone. Since SpeakOut is a 2G voice/text provider, it only would make sense to get a phone. You can get them cheap.

Since you are new here, I recommend you read the rules on this site, as well as the Terms page on the official site, as using SpeakOut service on an iPad is prohibited.

If this is not trying to be authority of speakout, I don't know what it is. Trying personal attack is not going to make you look nicer.

for the OP, they would ask you for your IMEI but that bears NO significance in activating the SIM(if that is what you get). call them and give them whatever IMEI and the SIM will still be activated.

I activate my SIM(bought with the 1616) without putting it into the 1616 nor give them my Samsung Gio's IMEI.

I would not provide any further info about the data part here as this is the wrong forum for that nor would i reply in PM.

But need to keep the fact straight.
