Notifications won't work if you are going through the proxy. On the iPhone, since you weren't activated during the "non proxy" period, you will not be able to get any notifications. Those people that were activated during that period may get random notifications, but they will be hours if not days late.

for some reason my iphone 4 3g was down, but now is fine,
still using ip 69 with wap and wapuser, no problem.
whatsapp no longer works though

Is there any way to set up this proxy on a Blackberry 8530? My previous APN settings are no longer working but I have searched everywhere on how to add a proxy but have come up with nothing.

I just saw this as I was out of the country. I am not fully caught up yet but Are we saying that UMB is back like before the ports were blocked? Do I leave the older profile or I need to create a new profile with newer proxy settings? Please share the full settings using the Apple configuration utility so they are posted here. One post that contains all new settings would be great for others like me who are late in catching up.. Thx guys

I have not made any changes yet. I am able to use almost everything(maybe a bit slower, can't tell) but these do not work anymore(Nettalk, Whatsapp messenger and internet radio app) using iPhone 4.
The question is, what do we gain by changing with the new proxy settings? More speed? Are we able to use Whatsapp messenger?

same here in vancouver. all of a sudden internet stopped working for me with the speakout profile. so i removed it yesterday and internet started working again, not for whatsapp and imessenger though.

Nobody said anything about changing a proxy. For a period of a couple of months you didn't need any proxy, but Rogers put an end to that. We are telling those that have no proxy in their configuration to add one. All three proxies work about the same from my experience.

TuneIn works for me in general, but 3 months ago I was getting more stations working. Now it's like one in ten. Most of them will start and stop in a few seconds.
WunderRadio is better.
Does WunderRadio still work for you now? I have TuneinRadio and doesn't on Iphone 3GS on 3G. I do not want to buy Wunder Radio if won't work over UMB from Speakout.

Only some stations work on Wunder Radio, not everythning. If you just want music I would recommend Slacker Radio. It's free,there are almost no commercials and you can create your own personalized stations. That one works on UMB.

TuneIn Radio works on my iPhone 4 on 3G. Not every channel works, but most do.

As the others said, it's hit and miss.
In wonderradio (unlike tunein) you can see it try to connect and it'll show the port number on the URL. Most internet radio stations don't use web related ports that are allowed under UMB. So some stations will work, and some won't.
