The problem with Speakout data is that the data has to go through a proxy to work. That means all applications, and not just the browser, also need the ability to go through a proxy. Most Android applications natively do not have that ability.

There is apparently a hack In Android that you can set to allow this. But sadly, you need to root the phone, and since I do not own an Android phone, I cannot be of much help.

It is working fine.
I have the unlimited data plan but only web browsing seems to work. This is normal for SpeakOut as they block everything else.

SpeakOut only support phones they sell of course, but a SpeakOut sim card should work in a unlocked GSM phone that uses the North American 850/1900 mHz bands.
