just SMS. I seldom use the phone to talk and if I do, I prefer just plain old cell network, more stable.

But with the C3's limited screen, I am not sure how usable it is to go through the web pages. I am wondering if there is some special java ME apps that make it a bit nicer. On my LG Omptinus One, there is specific google voice app that integrate nicely in the messaging system so I can seamlessly send/receive SMS via the GV account.

What are you looking to do with Google Voice? If you you are looking to use the VOIP, it won't work. Limitations of the C3 phone, Rogers network, and Google Voice make that a no go. As for free SMS messages, I see no reason why it should not work, just use the browser.
