Anyone with a blackberry having success to get google mail to work? Any other apps that you have been successful with?

I've got a BB 8100. The latest version of the Opera Mini browswer works, mercifully, so I use it to check my gmail and yahoo mail accounts. No luck with the Google apps. In fact the only other app I have that seems to work is WeatherEye.

Hi all,

I recently obtained a blackberry bold that I am using with the speakout data plan. I have got it working in a limited way, but I'm having trouble getting all but the very basic functions to work. I came from a windows mobile device and had google mail, contacts, calandar and maps to work and would like to do the same with the blackberry device. I'm able to use google sync to get contacts and calendar, but mail (the app - not through browser) and maps are a no go.
