The cutter should work if it is not garbage. The problem is you do not know if it is garbage unless it is too late. Electrically, SIMs and MicroSIMs are the same. There have been successful reports of the iphone4 working with Speakout, so there.

Has anyone ordered and used one of those stapler-like SIM cutters that chops down a standard SIM card (technically that's a mini SIM as the original SIMs were the size of credit cards) down to micro SIM size? A micro SIM is needed for the new iPhone 4 and, presumably, many phones in the future.

They also come with 2 to 4 little adapters that lets you put the cut SIM back into a phone that requires a mini SIM again if need be.

Here's one:
http://boliston.files.wordpres.....#038;h=640

I bought one on eBay last night from supplier with a 100% rating in Hong Kong. You can get them for about $10 including shipping, direct from Asia instead of paying $35 from a Canadian supplier.

Has anyone used these successfully yet?
