If it forwards on its own that means it is not connected to the Speakout network. I do not have a 2760, but some advanced handsets can be put on 'airplane mode' that disables their radios. Check if you are not in such a mode.

Sadly, Speak Out Wireless does not have call forwarding capabilities. To send callers directly to voice mail, you have to turn your phone off.
