I was able to acquire a USB charging cable ($2) and a universal 12V charger ($9) at Princess Auto.

After checking polarity and ouput both are working fine with the 1208.

The other style has a larger plug. That adapter lets you use the larger style plug with the Nokia 1208. The 1208's charging hole is smaller than some older Nokia phones.
