I sent a text msg to the ph # associated to the SIM card in my Rocket Stick and it took a couple of minutes but it did appear in the Rogers "software" in the messages section. I'd say it worked for me.

Does the nokia CS-18 software notify you when you receive a text message?
I have the Novatel version, it doesnt notify me. I have to check all the time if I receive SMS.

I have a Rogers Nokia CS-18 USB Rocket Stick for sale (I've upgraded to LTE). To buy it outright, the Rogers website sells it for ~$150. I'm selling mine for $50. Please let me know if you're interested. I'm located in Calgary and am willing to ship; buyer must pay for the shipping costs though.

All you have to do is add a SIM and configure it to work. The software self installs when you plug it into a computer. You can also put a MicroSD card in it for extra storage. Click here for more info about the stick.
