You do need to root and install auto proxy. Root at your own risk (google for info and how to do it).

How do i root phone and install autoproxy?

I can get access to google, but nothing on gps, "Places" android market and anything else requiring data. The customer service support told me he has the Apple 3g and everything works even you tube.
Here are the Apn settings that i have inputed based on other threadsm for speak-out as i've been told they are the same from the petro-can rep:

Username:wapuser1
Password:wap

MMSC:http:/mms.gprs.rogers.com
MMS proxy:10.128.1.69
MMS port:
MCC:302
MNC:720
Authentication type:gives me the choice of non, pap, chap
APN Type:internet + MMS or Internet only

Can someone help me please?
