It'll be a lot easier and most likely more profitable (since you don't have to replace your Speakout SIM).

(The rogers sim would also become worthless)

The thing is, right now Rogers has a promotion going on that you get $50 airtime credit when you activate a plan with them. My question is, if I were to port my number from speakout to rogers for a month (so I can get the $50 bonus) and then port my number back to speakout, would that work? Or is that even possible?
