An alternative would be to try and sell the Rogers SIM along with the $50 credit. It'll be a lot easier and most likely more profitable (since you don't have to replace your Speakout SIM).

It would work but you would lose all your speakout balance and your sim would be useless and when you ported back you would have to buy a new sim. (The rogers sim would also become worthless)

I just bought a new Rogers phone (that I want to use with Speakout Wireless). The thing is, right now Rogers has a promotion going on that you get $50 airtime credit when you activate a plan with them. My question is, if I were to port my number from speakout to rogers for a month (so I can get the $50 bonus) and then port my number back to speakout, would that work? Or is that even possible?

Thanks
