I'm looking for an annual plan with 50 GB of data or more at around $100 -$200 per year.

Freedom Mobile fits your needs. 40GB for $160/yr. Not quite 50GB though.

The other options are both Chatr and Koodo at 30GB for $150/yr.

Fizz is also an alternative if you remove all calling options and restrict your region to your own province. You can get 4GB at around $18/month depending on the province you reside in.

Thank you, for the response and suggestions. Of course, I've looked at Freedom, Chat-r, Koodo and others. All came close to what I'm looking for but weren't quite. At the moment, Chat-r and Freedom are on the short list. I'll likely go with one of those if Speakout isn't working after the 31ST but thought it worthwhile checking to see if anything better was available before committing. Anyway, thanks again.

Another option if you do not mind VOIP is voip.ms and pairing that with a cheap data plan like three.com.hk's yearly data plan. That's 35GB for about $45 CAD. voip.ms is $0.85 USD a month to hold a Canadian number before taxes. voip.ms also requires a minimum of $15 USD initially to fund the account.

I'm considering this option for some in my family that still uses Speakout.

I don't mind VOIP at all. I've used Fongo for some time and prefer it to Speakout. Finding the plans you mentioned, on the company's web sites is difficult. Voip.ms' customer service is excellent; very helpful. Three.com.hk's customer service may have been more helpful if I spoke Chinese. Oh well, their chat bot assures me that downloading the app will solve all my problems.
