However, if you do it from your phone, airtime charges apply. This is pretty much standard practice with all carriers.

Does their page mean that if I'm on Rogers PAYO and someone leaves me a voice mail I'm paying for however many minutes they talk even though I can't control it? Then when I retrive the voice mail even by my landline I will still pay for however many minutes I'm on their voice mail system?

If it is that seems very very unfair.
