The specs says this is a quad band GSM phone, http://www.phonescoop.com/phon.....php?p=1705 so if it is indeed unlocked, it should work with a UK GSM carriers, and likely most other GSM carriers in the world.

The UK sim card might work in your unlocked Pantech phone, if UK Virgin Mobile has a roaming agreement with a US based carrier. The roaming rates would be quite high though. You might find your answer on the Virgin Mobile UK site.

Okay, I just bought a Pantech Slate C530 off Ebay. It's an unlocked gsm phone which is compatible for use with Virgin Mobile, T Mobile, Cingular, etc. Virgin Mobile does not have sim cards in the US. However, Virgin Mobile has sim cards in the UK, and I am buying a UK gsm sim card for this phone. I wanted to know if you knew if this gsm sim card will work in the pantech in the US?
