I will miss it. The Nokia 1661 is a pretty dismal replacement. I happily turfed my 1661 to the first person with $40. I still kind of regret selling the 1208.

I should add there is nothing really wrong with the 1661 other than lower volume and it is locked. But it felt like it was built like and programmed like a low end Korean phone. The 1208 felt indestructible, it's ancient firmware was oddly reassuring.

Can anyone else confirm this?

And if this is the case, does anyone have suggestions as far as an equivalent low-end phone that still has good reception and general phone qualities (speaker/sound/battery life)?
