One year validity is confirmed by speakout wireless, and here is the email response:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting SpeakOut Wireless. Our airtime vouchers will not expire for over 365 days. If you decided to keep a voucher for an extended period of time, we recommend keeping it in a safe place as it cannot be replaced if it is lost. Also, write down the voucher and PIN number in ink as it tends to fade over time.

AskSpeakOut

> Enquiry Concerns: Airtime
> Comments: I bought an airtime voucher on Dec 31, 2010, I was told by the
> store that I need to use the voucher in 30 days, while your website says it
> is one year (in Terms). So how long does an airtime voucher remain valid
> before it is activated (used for refill)? (Note: I know the airtime is valid
> for 365 days AFTER it is activated, but my question is about the time BEFORE
> it is activated).
>

mjbad2, would you pls confirm or transfer your letter to me that the $100 airetime for new phone is still for 90 days, Coz either I ask the CSR and the store the answer is 30 days. So........... I already bought one for this promotion and really wanna activate it much much later than now. My email is WINWINXF@HOTMAIL.COM. thank you then.

Yes... that's just the date I bought it.

But even if it is the lowest of the possibilities mentioned, 30 days, why would you need to keep it around for even 30 days before activating it, never mind 90 days? Once the voucher is activated, it's good for a full year, so it's not like you're gaining that much extra time by waiting. And if I understand correctly, all you have to do to reset that year for your entire balance is activate one $25 voucher. Surely you use more than $25 per year?
