Unless you thought you were in the area but you weren't. (you were in Chilliwak and called Vancouver, still long distance)

First it says:

4. Can you make "roaming" calls in Canada and the US?

If you are within Canada, you call make calls outside your normal calling area for the normal long distance rates (see the question above).

Then it says below:

Summary of roaming charges
Suppose you have a Toronto number. You travel to Vancouver.

-You call Vancouver (Local for you)

I am inclined to believe that the latter statement is incorrect because I have a 519 area code. I moved to Van and haven't changed the number yet. I called a friend, local call, and was charged 45cents, the new rate long distance rate.

Please clarify.
