So I activated my number First and asked to port my number. Once that is done then I asked Reff number for my another number and added $100 time to this new ported number. All went well.

No, you will not lose the $100. When you call SpeakOut customer service, just explain everything to them like you did here, and they will port your number and transfer the balance to the new number.

Merry Christmas by the way! 🙂

I bought a new SO phone couple days ago and plan to port my current Rogers cell phone number to this new SO phone in the new year. I applied $100 to my new SO phone after I activate it. Today, I heard that the current balance in my new SO phone would be gone after I port my Rogers number. If this is true, how can I deal with it? I don't want to lose $100 since I just applied it to the phone. Will SO customer service help me? Any advice would be appreciated.
