There's a 99 cent monthly charge when you have a Speakout phone. All prepaid (except Presidents Choice I think) have a monthly fee of around the same amount.

You made 5 calls doesn't mean you used only for 5 mts. Its 25 cents per minute for local calls. So watch your calls.

Seriously, not sure what you are inferring from your comments - are u saying that there is no way your calls took this long and you are being charged for calls/time u didn't use or you can't control the length of your calls or ?? maybe u should clarify
