They have iphone and android apps to integrate with your address books and can be set up so that you don't have to type in account and PIN information when calling from specific phone numbers (like your cell-phone).

Nothings perfect but I like this, Im sharing this because when I see India =5.5c I think of my old calling card rates, This service charges 1.5c-1.7c (you pay in USD), no monthly fees and no other wierd charges like connection fees or anything.

They have local access numbers, no monthly fee, rates from 1.9 cents per minute to the US (varies by country - for example 5 cents to the UK, 3.5 cents to China).

The service works perfectly with SpeakOut phones.

So for example a call to Germany would effectively be costing you around $0.30 per minute. Somewhere like the Philippines would run $0.75/min. I was looking at the rates and pondering in which circumstances this method would be preferable to purchasing a long distance calling card from 7-11 and using the local access number it provides, which is what I have done in the past (for example via this method a call to somewhere like the Philippines would work out to $0.42/min). The benefit of the latter method aside from cheaper rates to many international destinations, would be the inclusion of USA and Canada rates, and no $1.99/month additional fee. Unless I've missed something I can't see where this package would be lucrative because the resultant cost of even calling the targeted countries of UK, Germany, China, and India would still be more than using a regular 7-11 long distance calling card.
