<p>But keep in mind, your father might be charged a huge amount, maybe $2 a minute, maybe higher, for roaming in Canada with a US phone.  Or he might not even get cell phone coverage here, depending on what plan he is subscribed to.  </p>
<p>If your father has an unlocked phone, he should get a Petro Canada or Speakout SIM card.  That will be easier on the cost for everyone involved.</p>

<p>My Dad is in Toronto now and brought his cell phone from the U.S. (U.S. plan).<br />
I will be driving to TO tomorrow.<br />
Will I be able to call him on his cell phone?<br />
If so, will I be charged the usual 25 cents/min.?</p>
