I believe it is FROM Canada TO US and not roaming. I failed to find roaming(even to US) of these MVNO. president's choice said it has such a feature but has difficulty or whatever and has disabled for now.

On the bundle page (https://www.speakout7eleven.ca/rates-add-ons#bundles) it refers to "Canada and US Wide Minutes". Does that mean that with this package activated you can roam to the US with a SO phone? Or does it just mean that you can call from Canada to the US with these minutes?

Jamesey - not to take away from SO - but could youelaborate on that Telus prepay? I have an iPhone 4 so have stopped using SO. The phone is unlocked from Apple so I am not on a contract but am on a "plan" that costs me about $50/month cancellation anytime. I don't need all the minutes or the data but can't find the pay as you go that you mentioned

Only seems like a good deal if you use a lot of voice minutes.

You can get the unlimited text and data (by data I assume they mean browsing, although real data would be great!) for $20 a month already. So you'd need to talk for at least 70 mins a month for the bundle to be worthwhile.

If it was real data, I'd definitely consider it.

You would have 37.50 debited from your account, it is illegal to double tax. Petro Canada seem to have a better deal. Only 50 minutes, but it is $27.50. Take a look. http://mobility.petro-canada.c.....s/396.aspx

notice it also says plus applicable taxes. Since you pay HST on the airtime voucher, the airtime in your account is post tax $$, I hope they only take the 37.50, not 42 and change. Would be a good deal, 'cept I don't use 100 minutes a month.

I suspect it's actually 100 minutes + unlimited browsing and texting, which is not nearly as attractive. In fact, I recently jumped ship to Telus prepaid because they offer 250MB of data plus unlimited messaging for $20/month (with voice billed at 20 cents a minute). I can finally use my smartphone the way it was designed.

Good find. I just hope that isn't a precursor to contracts, since they are deducting a set price per month just like a post-paid contract.
