I clearly stated that I emailed CS on the 1st, asking about the free phone promotion, and they replied today (the 3rd), saying that the free phone promotion will be available around Christmas. Then you say make up your mind, and will there be a promo or not? I think my post and their reply to my email was easily read.

What don't you understand? On August 1, I posted that there is no back to school free phone promo going on, so I emailed Speak Out customer service that day (August 1, two days ago) to see if they were going to have the promotion at all this year.

They replied today (August 3) saying that they were going to have the promotion around Christmas. As I clearly stated, I copy and pasted my email to them (dated August 1), and their reply from today (August 3).

They probably don't give out the details about a future promotion, just the current promotion. Most stores are like that. They can't be be bothered with answering questions that might happen in the future.
