Does anyone know what happens if you leave your account balance at $0? Does your number stay active? Can you still receive and check voice mail?

Please note: When your account expires, you have 45 days to refill your account before your phone number is cancelled. Your mobile number may be cancelled if your account has no activity for 120 consecutive days.

It might still receive voicemails, but only for 45 days, when your number goes *poof*. It's more likely the account will be "frozen" until there's enough money to cover any outstanding amounts, like the monthly 911 fee.

My friend let her SO phone account run down to $0. After 45 days, 2 men came to her apt and beat her so bad she was off work for 6 months. I suggest you pay 7-11 generously and frequently.

I laughed hard when I read that 🙂

I guess that's what you call customer "service"
And don't be a cheapskate and buy those $25 top-ups. Buying only $75 or $100 top-ups will keep those bad men from returning 🙂
