Hi all,
When I let voicemail pick up my calls the standard greeting randomly chooses English sometimes or French sometimes in no specific order. I would like it to be English all the time. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
I called the SO CSR who checked my phone settings and said "the phone is set for English".
Would it have something to do with living in Ottawa?
Thanks

I'm going to make a big UNeducated guess.
Seriously, it's just a guess.
But maybe it has something to do with the cell tower that 'grabs' your signal?
Do you notice that you're getting the French menu when you are closer the the Quebec border?

My wife and I live in Toronto and we have the same problem too! I would say it's mostly English (maybe 80-90%?) but it will switch to French every once a while. So I guess it has nothing to do with towers near Quebec.
I found that if I get a French message, it will still be French for next few minutes even if I hang up and call again. It will eventually switch back to English but unfortunately I don't know what to do with it either.
I guess my wife is not the only one. Anyone knows a solution? Please?

I have experience same problem… the worst thing is that when someone calls … and gets voice mail greeting in French… they are not going to leave any message, but rather just hang-up.

Would you just record your own greeting?
