I bought my 7-11 phone yesterday. I immediately set up Twitter for my phone. It was working great yesterday (http://twitter.com/chrisjf/statuses/776835190). Today it stopped working. I called customer service today and they said that I can only text to other phones that use a ten digit number. (Twitter uses the "short code" number 21212.) I told them it worked yesterday and they told me that it shouldn't have worked because they don't support short code numbers.

So to all of you people wanting to Twitter on the SpeakOut Wireless network: you can't.

Note: you could probably try the long Twitter number +44 7624 801423 but that will presumably be billed as an international SMS. (25cents per message!)
