Customer service advised that Rogers Communication Centre experienced a power outage, impacts across Canada and all phones. Estimated 2 hours to get service back.

Rogers is working with my SO phone and t-mobile SIM, just SO not working. Power outage sounds a little lame for a reason to kill a national network. Did they forget to pay their bill?

I get "call failed", even to get my balance 
Sounds like "central command" is down. Yup, a poor way to run a network.

Same problem in Vancouver.
12pm right now and service said with in two hours to resolve the issue.
They should just pose a note on the web or on the service phone.

Same problem here in Delta, BC. First network issue I've had in about 2 years with Speak Out.
