I thought text messaging was or is almost instantaneous. A couple of text messages that I sent were not received until a few hours or a day later! Any explan for this? Does sending it to another service provider such as Telus make a difference?

I have seen the same issues with other providers. Usually it is fairly instant, but it all depends on the network. I have sent texts that haven't been received at all.
