Want to clarify
We buy $25 voucher from 7-11 to PAY for the SIM card right (which comes with $5 credit)?
vs. paying with Credit Card via the phone
I initially thought we can get a FREE SIM card with $25 voucher (i.e. I'll have $25 credit to add to the free SIM card)… I think I totally misunderstood
Thanks
You walk into a store, buy a $25 (+ tax) voucher and then call in and ask for a SIM card. They mail you an already activated SIM card with a $5 credit on it – they said I'd have to call back to activate it but I just popped it into my unlocked phone and it worked fine. The entire process took less than one week for me

I think the confusion is do you use the 25 voucher to add fund to the $5 SIM they send to you so you have a total of 30 dollars available to use.
Or that 25 bucks voucher would be useless which in exchange you get a SIM with 5 bucks in it.
So which one of the above two mentioned case it is ? I am also puzzled even after reading all these posts.

You buy a $25 voucher, then call SpeakOut customer service and read the pin number on the voucher to prove you did buy one. They then send you a sim card with a $5 credit on it, and the pin number on the voucher is now useless.

FYI, I bought $25 of credit today then called Customer Service who informed me that selected stores will be receiving shipments of SIM cards for August 1st.
I ended up buying a SIM card for $11.20 (incl. tax) from the 7-11 at 10th and Alma in Vancouver (the downtown location at Robson/Seymour had no idea what I was talking about). It comes with instructions on how to activate it (which can be done online)… Seems pretty simple. Though I haven't yet done so as the website is down and haven't tried to port my existing number over yet.
