Texts from messenger no longer gets received by my phone. I used to be able to receive texts from people on messenger via the 'allow contacts to send contacts via mobile phone' in messenger, and hotmail email notifications, but now it doesn't work. I tried to register my number on the Windows Live page but I don't receive the code on my phone. I'm in Vancouver and this seemed to stop working on Feb 6. I can receive texts from rogers.ca. I've tried putting my sim into another phone and it still didn't receive text from windows live.

Anyone else experience something similar?

I just connected my phone with hotmail SMS. I had to manually input the activation link into a web browser but then it does send me free SMS with the subject of my hotmails. I dunno about messenger yet though.

I also sent myself an SMS with 10digitphonenumber@pcs.rogers.com and it told me to reply Yes to 30500001. Well, that SMS is stuck in my outbox so I cannot enable email to SMS. Anyone found a workaround, such as spoofing the SMS from a website to look like it came from your phone?
