I have working internet with SpeakOut!

Today I bought my Grandma the Rogers Nokia 6080 phone bundle. Since I've lived with my crappy 1600 for nearly a year now, I passed on that phone to her with her new Rogers SIM card and took the 6080 for myself.

Curious as to what would happen if I hit "internet", I hit it and to my great surprise, the MyRogers homepage came up!

I tried purchasing a ringtone but an error message came up saying "unrecognizable device, try later" so I'm guessing that would be because SpeakOut does not offer internet.

I check my Grandma's Rogers account balance after surfing around a bit and it was still at where it was when I start.

Not sure if someone has done this before, but just wanted to note that yours may work!

You can also browse to http://ztar.clearmode.com/ (ztar is the MVNO for SpeakOut) to look for ringtones, games, wallpaper, etc. but there is no general browsing on Speakout phones.
