Hi.
Does the (3g) fido iPhone work on the speakout network if I just insert a speakout sim? (don't need data, just cell service)
Currently I am using my unlocked first gen iPhone on speakout.
Thanks
Glen

SO operates on the Rogers network. Phones that are locked to Rogers will work on SO but phones that are locked to Fido won't.

But I was under the assumption that Fido also ran on Rogers network, at least the 'extended' network part of fido does(they told me).
Anyone try it?

I have tried it. Fido runs under Rogers towers but the sim cards and phones are Fido and have different carrier locks.
