Is there a way to pay to pick unused phone numbers?

I heard when you go to buy a phone from rogers, they have a range of unsed cell phone numbers to select from.

Is there a way to select unused numbers with 7/11.

In short, no. Numbers are pre-assigned to phones. Your only option is to go to each 7-Eleven store and ask each clerk to show you the numbers for each of the phones they have for sale.
