Hi all, I recently ported a Montreal number from Telus to SO for the purposes of keeping it as voice mail. Given that I live in Toronto, I didn't want to pay long distance just to check it and thus was accessing it via the VM number 416-270-5706. However, in the past week every time I try to enter my phone number at the prompt it says the number is "invalid".
I'm still able to get to VM by dialing my number directly.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Type in this number under your voicemail number options:
+1-647-669-9989
Be sure to enter the "+" as well.
That's the number SpeakOut customer service gave me to use to access my voicemail.

Nope, no luck. By the way, I'm trying to access VM from another phone, if that makes a difference.

It shouldn't make a difference. I called the 647-669-9989 from another phone, and it brought me to VM. Then it will just ask you to type in your Speakout number, then your pin. Not sure why it doesn't work for you. Maybe give CS a call.
