Just wondering if I can buy the SO phone and sim card now and not activate until 6 months longer? Is there a time frame that you have to activate your sim and phone after purchase? Thanks.

I do not believe there is a time frame for an unactivated SIM card, but try to activate it within a year. I personally did not activate one of my SIM cards for 8 months after purchase. No issues when I did activate.

There is no time frame. If SO did give you issues over it, I don't see how they can enforce anything because they don't mention a time frame anywhere in fine print.
