I tried searching the forum but couldn't find the info I needed.

My apologies if this sounds like a stupid question, but I recently received a new sim card from SO, inserted it into a used Nokia 1661 I bought from someone on this site.

My problem is that the online activation won't work for me because the phone has previously been activated. Would it be safe to call SO and inform them that I bought a used 1661 and that I need them to reactivate it for me? If not, is there anyway I can activate the phone by some other method?

Certainly, call customer service. Write down the IMEI number, its in the battery compartment. The CS reps are generally very helpful and will get you up and running very quickly.

I am to assume that the used Nokia 1661 is a Speakout phone right? In any case, as andreww suggested, a call to Speakout is probably needed. I seriously doubt they will give you a hard time.
