Does anyone know if the toll free & land lines to access voicemails work anymore?
I tried the various land line numbers 18776437786, 416-270-5706 mentioned in the forum and after I input my phone number and #, I get dead air then disconnected.
It works if I call my own cell phone number from land line but I'd like to know if there's a 1-800 # I can use when I'm outside my calling area so it doesn't count towards my minutes.
Thanks!

Thought I had the answer for you, but this is not for long distance – but I would like to know too!
From a landline phone
1) Turn off your SpeakOut phone and dial your own SpeakOut number.
2) When you hear the greeting, press the pound (#) key.
3) Enter your personal voice mail passcode and follow the voice prompts.
(If you forget your passcode contact customer service by dialing 611 on your handset – always a FREE call – and customer service can reset your passcode.)

Did you call (or email) SpeakOut customer service about a toll-free voicemail number? They may be able to help you with that.

The customer service is the last resort when you can't figure it out.

I totally disagree. They helped me way back when I needed to set-up my voicemail.

Just as Melissa said above (with 1 modification):
From a landline phone (or cell phones):
1) Turn off your SpeakOut phone and dial your own SpeakOut number.
(You don't need to turn off your SO phone. Instead, just when it rings, press on "Reject".).
2) When you hear the greeting, press the pound (#) key.
3) Enter your personal voice mail passcode and follow the voice prompts.

The 1-877-643-7786 Rogers number doesn't seem to work anymore…can't find any other toll free number.
